August 20, 2020. The world had gone remote months earlier, and American companies were still dangerously exposed, securing a workforce that no longer sat behind a firewall. We stood up secure, US-based IT and security operations for them in seven days. And from day one we drew hard lines: continuous certification, accountable ownership, and on-shore people, never offshore, never outsourced.

We incorporated MARFI to secure the US companies the pandemic sent home overnight. Our first client went from exposed to fully secured in seven days, and that became the bar we have held ourselves to ever since.
A handful of endpoints became several hundred, across every kind of company. We turned the way we run and secure businesses into a repeatable system, the automations that now power MARFI Launchpad.
We engineered our control library around NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, and SOC 2, and started collecting evidence continuously. Compliance became something our clients simply have, not something they scramble for once a year.

We stood up a dedicated practice for CMMC and FedRAMP-aligned work, running assessment-ready CUI environments for the contractors who keep America’s defense industrial base moving.
MARFI Launchpad DIB launched, managed CMMC L1/L2 and FedRAMP-aligned compliance for the Defense Industrial Base, with CUI enclaves on GCC High and AWS GovCloud. ISO 27001 certification in progress.
